- The deck takes full advantage of the new bat archetype in Bloomburrow and uses the combination of evasion and life gain/loss synergies to generate massive amounts of value and overrun your opponent.
- The deck starts by casting a number of efficiently-costed creatures with strong abilities including Essence Channeler (flying, vigilance, +1/+1 counters), Darkstar Augur (offspring, flying, card draw), Starscape Cleric (offspring, flying, drain), Moonrise cleric (life gain).
- The deck then adds incredibly powerful midgame threats including Zoraline (flying, vigilance, life gain, reanimate) and Starseer Mentor (flying, drain/removal). These are combined with a number of removal spells to deal with your opponent's largest threats (Banishing Light, Sonar Strike, Hazel's Nocturn), as well as SInister Monolith to help trigger the life gain/loss abilities. This deck is massively strong and can quickly bury your opponent in value.
