BLOCK OF 4 STAMPS OF LYNDON B JOHNSON AS PICTURED. On November 7, 1073 in Washington DC; the USPS issued this oversized stamp in memory of the 36th President of the United States, Lyndon B. Johnson, who took office following the assassination of John F. Kennedy. Although Johnson was considered a champion of civil rights, his term was overshadowed by the events in Vietnam.
