The prototype Optima Mid is 5 out of 10 4WD class A main FINAL races at the 2nd Electric Off-Road Car World Championship in 1987.
The Optimma Mid is now commercially available and has been used in racing around the world.
The Turbo Optima Mid Special was released in 1988, and the limited edition edition of the Optimma Mid was quickly sold out.
Thus, in some cases, Turbo Optima Mid Special, also known as a fantasy masterpiece, was back in 2025 as the 18th edition of the Kyosho Vintage series.
The original version of the Turbo Optima Mid Special features a 18mm longer wheelbase than the Optimma Mid, which provides greater speed stability and improved cornering speed.
The main chassis compatible with sorting batteries, uses a hybrid carbon plate sandwiched with FRP to provide both moderate none characteristics and high rigidity.
In addition to the turbo Optima Mid Special belt and belt cover, the body is also newly made to fit the chassis.
These features have been attributed to the restoration of the Turbo Optima Mid Special and include updates to the modern power source and R/C mechanics.
The parts that were previously treated are also included as standard, and we have updated several parts for the Turbo Optima Mid Special.

Reinforced nylon rear wings with just the right amount of flexibility and strength are common with the previously sold Optima Mid. The setting can be changed by replacing the Scorpion rear wing.
The rear hub carrier is available in 3 types of toe angle to choose from 0, 1, and 2.
