JConcepts, together with RM2 brings friction and noise reducing gear grease to the line-up. Ghost friction grease is something to drop in against plastic-to-plastic gear applications. Perfect for 2wd buggy transmission assemblies with inline gears and lightweight 4wd buggies converting to plastic gear materials for lighter weight performance.
Ryan Maifield has a need for speed, and on the track, it's important to have a smooth running, quiet and free running gear box. Ryan has spent considerable time searching out the combination that belongs in his race cars. While many of the gear lubes available in the RM2 line-up are for metal gears or assemblies, the Ghost is specifically designed for plastic gears found on many of the 1/10th off-road vehicles.
When performing maintenance or new fresh builds, spread a liberal amount on each plastic gear or combination of plastic gear assemblies. Once the vehicle is completely assembled, always roll-over the driveline so all the grease can take a nice set-in position and evenly coat areas. Ryan recommends checking over the vehicle after initial shake-down runs and maintaining it with the same level of materials and consistency as it was originally built.
